英語單字遊戲

我又開始代課了，這次是英文課，教學對象7-8年級學生。
目前才上了4天課，而我已經3年沒教英文了，不僅緊張，而且面對8年級學生的油條，我有一種強烈的無力感，一直以來，我認定教學是好玩的工作，因為我可以跟學生一起學，讓他們覺得輕鬆有趣，學習就會變成遊戲的附加價值。

為了讓學生不要只是聽課，沒有互動，就把以前上課玩的遊戲變成英文版的了。

Support the Front line:

1.Divide the students into proper groups.
2.Ask them to get their staff ready.
3.Explain the rules: the group which could gather quickly the items t that the teacher says, and raise their hands, win 1 round. (Or gather the items and run to the teacher, the classroom must be big enough.
4.Give the direction, e.g. 5 orange highlighters, 2 erasers, 7 correction tapes, etc.(The direction could be anything depending on the content lesson that they're learning.)

**Also can collect as many items as the teacher asks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Listening comprehension and Bingo game:

1.Do the regular vocabulary listening comprehension quiz.(The teacher reads out the vocabs and students write them down.)
2.Ask students to exchange, and do the correction together.
3.Grade the quiz and return to the rightful owner XD
4.Draw a 3*3 grid on the quiz paper (depending on how many questions that the teacher gave, and choose 9 numbers out of 10 to fill into the grid.)
5.Pick 5-6 names. Each students has to choose the number and says the vocabulary out loud.(Practice pronunciation and listening again.)
6.Whoever gets 1 line, adds 2 points to the quiz.

It would easier for the students to use highlighter to mark.

This Chinese-English(Pinyin Chinese) Dictionary is piece of art. They give you related words, sentence examples, etymology, and stroke order, you can switch between Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese and listen to the pronunciation. They even give you the proficiency test level for the word that you're looking for, but pity that they haven't changed TOP into TOCFL level.

Still it's an useful tool for both teachers and students.
